Heidi Oestman

U10 Head Coach

I grew up playing soccer in Canby, Oregon at the age of 5. I continued playing rec and club soccer until I attended Canby High School and played for the JV and Varsity teams.

From there, I attended Hope International University in southern California where I played on the college team all four years, as well as worked in the Athletic Training program and graduated with a degree in Kinesiology.

After college, I returned to the Portland area and continued my soccer career through numerous indoor and outdoor leagues, both women's and coed. Finally, my years of playing caught up to me, and after 30+ years of playing I had to hang up the boots due to multiple knee injuries.

I have had the opportunity to coach a variety of ages and skill levels, ranging from 3-5 yr olds to JV high school to over 40s, looking to learn a new sport. Soccer has been such a huge part of my life, so truly I love to nurture the love and passion of the sport and see the improvements in every player that wants to learn. No matter the starting point.
